The tastes
The restaurant, inside the old wall, open also to public, provides a traditional and creative kitchen, with genuine tastes directly from vegetables, oil and aromatic herbs, cereaks cropped within the Masseria. Also within the Masseria Macurano there is a shop where you can buy the products.

The traditional kitchen of Salento is a farmer kitchen, rich of fantasy, with thousands tastes, thousands aromas, thousands names, prepared with poor ingredients, what is produced by the ground. Exploring Salento you'll see that nature provided us all: the ground produces wine and olive oil considered one of the best all over the world; the sea rich of fishes and shellfish that always are included in our meals. At the basis of our kitchen there are ingredients like legumes, pottage, vegetables, fresh pasta, local fish and meat. A simple kitchen, that we commonly call as traditional and it's part of our story and our culture. And with the love for our places and for its products we're pleased to invite you to eat one of our tipical meals.

Starting with the "antipasti" of grilled pottage where you shouldn't miss "fave e foje", following with one of our first dishes all based on pasta: "ricchitedde", "minchiarieddi", "sagne torte". As second dish you'll eat grilled meat or the "pezzetti". And to end, home-made dessert or fruits of season. Our service is very simple and informal, ingredients used to prepare the dishes are fresh and naturals, mainly locally produced or tipical of Salento's companies.
