Masseria Macurano is a tipical and singular rural building, symbol of the agricultural civilization of the XVIII Century. The large towered building, on two floors, sighting oriented, approached to rustics, wood oven, closed mediterranean garden, stall and folds. At the downstairs an entrance to doorway connects the cohort with the outdoor; fortification walls, made with stones, red clay and stones of local calcareous tufa, real proof of the insecurity air that reigned in the Salento's pensinsula, so streach out in the middle of two seas, embrace the complete structure, nearly to defend from intrusive eyes the memory and the quiet of the location. The Masseria Macurano, thanks to a careful restore became a beautiful agritourism, where Marco, Daniela and Luciano, since 90s, real pioneers, lavish to make their guests vacations really unforgettable. |
